In my early years, I really looked forward to going to attend a university or a college. I wanted to study so many things. I remember reviewing the courses offered at a college I wanted to attend; the classes covered topics on university physics, science, college algebra, and even cooking. But, instead of going to the college I wanted to attend, I decided to spend some time traveling and learning about the world through life experiences even though I knew I wanted to have a teacher teach me. From time to time, I would buy used college textbooks to read. And then when I was done reading them and educating myself with the topics they discussed, I considered trying to sell textbooks so that I could use the money from those books to help pay for other books I was interested in purchasing. I think I lost count how many books that I read. Some days, it was easy to read, learn, and study. On other days, however, I wished I was in a classroom being taught by academics, professors, teachers, and faculty. In my opinion, sitting in a classroom and listening to someone professing knowledge is a really neat thing to do. I have always admired how much college and university students learn when they attend classes, read or study any college textbooks that might be required, and do their best in getting a good education. That?s why I think colleges, universities, and educational institutions are so wonderful.
