Bachelor Nation collapsed in a fit of mutual swoons during The Bachelorette Season 8 finale?when Jef Holm got down on one knee and declared his love for Emily Maynard. These two are on their way to living happily ever after, but let's not forget about Ricki. Emily and her darling daughter are a package deal, which is why Jef is moving to their hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to become a "carpool dad!"
"We're just going to live our lives together and get accustomed with each other, plan a wedding, and when we get married, move in together," Jef tells the folks of Good Morning America. "Right now she [Ricki] knows that Jef is a huge part of my life," Emily explains. "I didn't want to burden her with too much because it was still a secret, and God knows she's the worst secret keeper ever! Now that we can be out in public, she's going to know."
Once Ricki gets used to Jef's coif being all up in her face, our favorite reality couple can finally plan their perfect wedding. "I've been looking up dresses online and buying every wedding magazine in the grocery store," Emily says. "We're just kind of taking it day by day."
Emily and Jef seem like they'll last a lifetime, but don't forget that this gal has been engaged before and it didn't end in wedded bliss! "I think our [relationship] is going to work because we really have become immediate best friends. I feel so comfortable around him," Emily says. "It's different than any relationship I've ever been in, so hopefully the outcome will be different, too!"
OMG it will be, Emily! We believe!
